55th Annual Speedsters event

This is a past event that took place on June 7, 2026.

The 55th Annual Speedsters & Lowland Tour event at VA Palo Alto is a community-centered outreach event designed to bring Veterans, families, staff, and community partners together through a shared appreciation of classic Model T and Model A automobiles. The event provides Veterans—particularly those in inpatient and residential settings—with an opportunity for social engagement, community connection, and exposure to supportive VA and community resources in a welcoming and uplifting environment.
VA Palo Alto staff will support the event through coordinated outreach, Veteran engagement, event logistics, and resource education. Staff from multiple departments will be available to connect Veterans with information regarding VA health care enrollment, benefits, mental health services, social work resources, and other supportive programs. The event also serves as an opportunity to strengthen relationships between VA Palo Alto and the surrounding Veteran community while promoting wellness, camaraderie, and access to care.
