Celebrating America's 250th Birthday: The Philadelphia VA Healthcare System Joins the Military Basketball Association for its 2026 All-Star Game at Saint Joseph's University

The Philadelphia VA Healthcare System is collaborating with the Military Basketball Association’s (MBA) 2026 All-Star Game at St Joseph’s University in Philadelphia that will be broadcast on Gray Media. The MBA is a Veteran-founded men and women Veteran and Active-Duty servicemember leagues (MBA and WMBA) whose mission is to end Veteran and Active-Duty suicidal ideation and suicides through engaging them in sports (basketball). The MBA has a global footprint with teams across the USA at military bases and installations and in Europe (Germany), Turkey and other parts of the world. The All Star Game is FREE to the Public. The Philadelphia VA will be onsite with its sister agencies VBA and NCA to educate Veterans and their families about available VA resources, enroll Veterans in VA healthcare, check claims status, VA Life Insurance and burial benefits. VHA services in attendance include Suicide Prevention, PACT Act, Homeless programs, Veteran Justice programs, Caregiver Support, Connected Care, Whole Health, Women’s Health, Military Sexual Trauma, Enrollment & Eligibility, Travel Benefits, Recreation Therapy, Behavioral Health, Nutrition and Food Services and much more.
