FREE CONCERT

As part of the national Freedom 250 campaign, Miramar National Cemetery will host a free concert and Veterans Resource Fair to honor the men and women who have protected and strengthened our nation for two and a half centuries. The concert will include powerful stories from Veterans and performances local San Diego artists including, Floyd A. Smith, former member of the Grammy Award-winning group, The 5th Dimension, and Men 4 Christ. All are invited to attend this once-in-a-generation tribute and experience the stories and traditions that connect America’s past to its future.
VETERANS RESOURCE FAIR
10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Immediately following the concert, Miramar National Cemetery will host a Veterans Resource Fair. In addition to cemetery staff, representatives from the San Diego VA Regional Veterans Benefit Office, San Diego Veterans Health Care, and the San Diego Vet Center will be available to assist Veterans in enrolling in VA health care, applying for disability compensation as well as checking the status of a claim or appeal, pre-need burial determination, and accessing counseling and other earned Veterans benefits.
