Veterans across Alameda County will have a rare opportunity to access a full range of VA services in one place this September, as VA Palo Alto Health Care System partners with the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Veteran Service Organizations (VSO), and Disabled American Veterans (DAV) for a community resource event in Fremont.
The Alameda County Veterans Resource Day will take place Friday, September 25, 2026, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at the Fremont Elks Lodge, 38991 Farwell Dr, Fremont, CA 94536. The event is free and open to all Veterans and their family members, with no appointment necessary.
On-site VA Palo Alto services will include:
• Enrollment and eligibility support
• Referrals to specialty and follow-up care
• Help scheduling medical appointments
• Toxic exposure screenings for Veterans who may have been exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, or other hazards during their service
