Military Basketball Association & VHA Veteran Outreach Event | Freedom 250

This is a past event that took place on July 10, 2026.

The Military Basketball Association (MBA) and the Veterans Health Administration are partnering to host a special basketball tournament dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, and their families. This event highlights the positive impact of sports, teamwork, and physical activity as tools for resilience, recovery, stress management, and overall mental wellness.
In addition to the tournament, representatives from the Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Benefits Administration, National Cemetery Administration, and Vet Center will be available to connect attendees with valuable VA resources. Veterans can learn about and enroll in VA health care, receive information regarding benefits and claims status, and obtain guidance on burial and memorial benefits. The event aims to foster camaraderie, promote mental health awareness, and ensure Veterans and Service Members have access to the benefits and support they have earned through their service.
