A Celebration of Heroes & Healing
Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with an unforgettable day of honor, horsepower, and live music! Hosted by FTD Ministry, “Pets & Patriots 250” is a massive community event dedicated to supporting our nation’s heroes.
While we celebrate 250 years of American freedom, we also recognize the unseen battles fought by our veterans and first responders right here at home. This landmark event aims to raise national awareness and tangible funding for veteran mental health, specifically highlighting the life-saving bond between veterans and their service or companion animals.
What to Expect: The Run of Show
• The “Walk for Wellness”The morning kicks off with a powerful, united procession of veterans, first responders, and service animals arriving at the Roundhouse campus, serving as a visual reminder that no one walks alone on the road to recovery.
• The Cars and Coffee “American Muscle” Showcase (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)Building upon the beloved weekly Cars & Coffee tradition at Two Brothers Roundhouse, we are supercharging the morning! Explore a massive, free-to-the-public exhibition of over 200+ classic and military vehicles in the courtyard. At exactly noon, the showcase will culminate in a coordinated “Rev Salute”—a roaring, 250-second engine tribute to our independence.
• Pets & Patriots 250 Live Music (12:00 PM – 3:00 PM)Following the Rev Salute, the celebration moves inside the historic Roundhouse for an exclusive, high-energy patriotic concert. Provided by FTD Ministry, this free concert features talent from the Chicagoland area.
The Mission & Impact This event is completely free to the public, with all on-site donations directly funding veteran mental health support programs and our local animal rescue affiliates.
“Pets & Patriots 250” is made possible through a powerful strategic partnership between FTD Ministry, the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs, the All Pets Wellness Foundation, Rover Rescue, and the Veterans Assistance Commission.
