Radio on the River 2026

This is a past event that took place on October 11, 2026.

The Veterans Radio’s annual fundraising event will be hosted at the beautiful Freedom River facility, the afternoon will include a Veteran resource fair, talented local musicians, locally catered food and beverages, guests speakers, and a raffle. You can also meet the VRA team, learn about its history and mission, and support future productions as we expand our audience and continue the next year of broadcasting. The raffle will run for the duration of the event and will conclude at the end of the event. There will also be a UH-1 Huey from the Michigan Flight Museum with a chance to tour and ride in the aircraft!

VA Ann Arbor Healthcare representatives will be on hand to help Veterans, their families, and caregivers apply for, understand, and make the most of their VA healthcare benefits. There will be plenty of helpful information available on different healthcare services, specialties, and programs.
