The Salem VA Health Care System will host a Veteran Open House at the Tazewell Outpatient Clinic (Tazewell, Virginia) on August 13, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This event is open to Veterans and the public. At the event, the Executive Director of the Salem VA Health Care System will engage with Veterans and provide updates on local operations, initiatives, metrics, and the overall quality of care provided by the health care system. Education and resources on VA programs and services will also be offered. Enrollment and Eligibility staff will be present to assist with enrolling new Veterans into VA Health Care. This event ensures Veterans receiving services at all regions of the Salem VA catchment are able to engage with facility leadership. New (un-enrolled), and enrolled Veterans will be provided with outreach resources.
