This is a past event that took place on May 14, 2026.

Salem VA Health Care System -- Veteran Open House - Wytheville VA Outpatient Clinic

The Salem VA Health Care System will host a Veteran Open House at the Wytheville Outpatient Clinic (Wytheville, Virginia) on May 14, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This event is open to Veterans and the public. At the event, the Interim Director of the Salem VA Health Care System will engage with Veterans in an informal, meet-and-greet where she can provide updates on local operations, initiatives, metrics, and the overall quality of care provided by the health care system. Education and resources on VA programs and services will also be offered. Enrollment and Eligibility staff will be present to assist in enrolling new Veterans into VA Health Care, on-the-spot. This event ensures Veterans receiving services at all regions of the Salem VA catchment are able to engage with facility leadership. Veterans seeking to enroll in VA health care should bring their DD-214. New (un-enrolled), and enrolled Veterans will be provided with information and resources on VA care.
