The SOS Mobile Unit sets up in a lobby area, hopefully near windows – it takes them about 15 minutes with no assistance from VA staff. They need approximately 16 ft in the lobby for set up which consists of rolling cabinets that expand to a mobile office so they do not need tables. The cabinets can be put together in different configurations if the lobby space does not allow for 16ft of space for their set up (they can make them into L shapes or not even bring all the sections if the area is too small). There are two staff from SOS present and they only requested the use of two chairs from the lobby, if available. The cabinets contain their inventory, computers, printers etc. They have their own camera to take the driver’s license pictures as well. They only need access to electric and WIFI password, they work off of their own VPN.
