9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Eastern Time

Southern Georgia and Northern Florida 4th Annual VISN-wide Suicide Prevention Awareness Day Event - Don't Wait. Reach Out.

Description
This live, online training is designed to highlight why consistent care is essential for the safety of Veterans at high risk for suicide, especially during transitions when risk is higher. It also shows how the Whole Health approach helps keep Veterans safe by building purpose, connection, and strong support systems. Even when some risks—like past trauma or money problems—cannot change, Whole Health helps Veterans strengthen protective factors and improve key parts of life like housing, food, safety, and access to care. Participants will learn how to spot key moments when follow up care is needed, understand what Veterans may be going through, and find helpful VA and community services.
