Join us as we greet Veterans, staff, and visitors to raise awareness for Suicide Prevention Month. Volunteers will hand out purple and teal stickers, ribbons, and pins to wear in solidarity, along with flyers highlighting the month’s activities and resources. This is an opportunity to connect, share information, and show visible support for suicide prevention efforts.
Community Solidarity Fair & Art Projects

Come together for a day of creativity, connection, and hope.
Solidarity Art Project: Paint rocks, small canvases, or other items with 988 messaging, mindfulness quotes, or uplifting words using the signature purple and teal colors.
Heart Message Board: Share a kind word, a supportive quote, helpful resources, or an anonymous message of survival and hope.
This event is part of the VA’s ongoing commitment to preventing suicide among Veterans by fostering community, promoting awareness, and encouraging open conversations about mental health. All Veterans, staff, and community members are welcome to participate.
