PROPOSED TALKING POINTS (BULLETS):
1. The goal of the Stand Down is to provide assistance to Veterans experiencing homelessness or housing instability
2. Services will be provided onsite at the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System
3. Social work, mental health, medical health and substance use assessment, and treatment will be available
4. Services onsite include Veteran’s Benefits Administration, Department of Welfare and Supportive Services, Health Care for Homeless Veterans, HUD-VASH, Homeless Patient Aligned Care Team, Employ NV, VA Suicide Prevention, VA Eligibility, and Nevada Department of Veterans Services.
5. Food and supplies will be available to Veterans experiencing homelessness or housing instability
6. All services available during the Stand Down will be available to Veterans experiencing any form of homelessness or otherwise in need of those services
