Oklahoma City VA Health Care System Community Engagement Outreach Event
The Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs is teaming up with Oklahoma Veterans United and Eagle Ops community engagement team to inform Veterans of the upcoming VET FEST Community Engagement Event. This year the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System encourages opening lines of communication between VA resources and the Warr Acres-area Veteran community. The OKC VA is focusing on all Veterans in their communities—our next stop is Warr Acres, Oklahoma. If you are a Veteran, or Veteran widow/survivor, come to the American Legion Post 12, 6101 NW 50th Warr Acres, OK on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM to discuss your VA healthcare needs and VA benefits. The Oklahoma Veterans United and Eagle Ops is hosting the OKC VA, inviting all Veterans, their spouses or caregivers, Veteran widows, and active-duty military personnel nearing retirement to attend this VET FEST Community Engagement to help each Veteran and their families get the information they need about the PACT Act, VA eligibility, healthcare questions and get answers to their questions.
The OKC VA 2025 outreach program is in full swing with outreach events throughout Oklahoma. They are reaching out to specific communities in and around OKC VA footprint. This year’s outreach program focuses on Veterans talking about their medical care concerns, or help navigating the VA Health Care System, Veteran Health Administration, Veterans Benefits Association and assist Veterans with resources and benefits.
This event will bring the necessary resources to the local communities by partnering with Muskogee Regional Benefits Office, the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs, Oklahoma Veterans United, Eagle Ops, and bring the experts to the Veterans and providing toxic exposure screening, meet their providers, enroll in healthcare, file service connection claims and much more.
