VHA 80 Enrollment Fair and Car Show

This is a past event that took place on September 19, 2026.

Freedom 250 & VHA80 Enrollment Fair and Car Show
Honoring 250 Years of Service and Celebrating 80 Years of VA Health Care

Join us on September 19, 2026, at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center,
2907 Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602, as we come together for a special combined event recognizing two historic milestones: 250 years of American service and sacrifice and 80 years of VA health care.

This all‑in‑one celebration will feature a Veteran Enrollment Fair, a Car Show, and a Time Capsule Ceremony where Veterans and employees are invited to contribute items or messages to commemorate this moment in our shared history.

If you served in a combat zone—whether during World War II, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq, Afghanistan, or any other conflict—you may already be on the path to enrolling in VA health care. This event is designed to help you take that next step.

During the Enrollment Fair, you’ll have access to:
• Enrollment and Eligibility
• Physical Therapy
• Whole Health
• Suicide Prevention
• Additional resources dedicated to your well‑being

To begin or complete your enrollment, please bring your DD214, insurance information, and financial details.

Interested in showcasing your vehicle in the Car Show? Visit our Facebook page for more information.

Join us as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to the future—together.
