The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and Department of Veterans Affairs have partnered to bring you the PACT Act VA Disability Claims Event.<\/p>\n
**Please note: When you pre-register, you’re reserving a general admission spot for the day, not a specific appointment time. We\u2019ll see everyone in the order they arrive. There may be a wait, but rest assured, you will be seen and receive services. Thank you for your patience and for being part of the event.<\/p>\n
While you wait, we encourage you to visit the other vendors to learn more about benefits and services available to Veterans and their families.<\/p>\n
Tribal Health Service programs will be available at the event along with staff from the Winston-Salem VA Regional Office who will answer questions related to Veteran and survivor benefits, assist with filing claims, and provide updates on existing claims.<\/p>\n
Staff from the Western North Carolina VA Health Care System will be onsite providing mental health, social work, and caregiver resources.<\/p>\n
On-site compensation and pension (C&P) exams will be available in select scenarios. While not all claims can be accommodated, we aim to provide this service wherever possible.<\/p>\n
