Economic Development Initiative (EDI) Virtual Roundtable Follow-Up Meeting

6-Month EDI Roundtable Follow Up Meeting. Stakeholders provided program updates based on the initial EDI event. The event was closed to the public and was by invitation only. The event was held on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 9 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. CENTRAL / 10 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. ET via Microsoft Teams.

Topics Included:

  • Employment: The employment group focused on the topic of employment for transitioning Service members, Veterans, and military spouses.
  • Women Veterans: The women Veterans group focused on amplifying resources for women Veterans in Texas.
  • Benefits: The benefits group focused on how to best direct transitioning Service members, Veterans, and family members to reliable services and information.
