Outreach, Transition and Economic Development (OTED), Office of Economic Development , and Office of Equity Assurance, in partnership with the Nashville Regional Office, hosted an in-person, two-day event titled Memphis Veterans Economic Initiative Summit for Veterans, service members and their family members. The event occurred April 24–25, 2024, at the Riverside Missionary Baptist Church, 3590 South Third Street, Memphis, Tennessee. The event was to help Veterans, service members, spouses, family members, caregivers and survivors learn about Veteran benefits, resources, local jobs, the claims process and/or to complete their claims and discover benefits for spouses. The event’s objective was to help promote positive economic outcomes and overall well-being for this community.

April 24 Schedule of Events

  • Opening Ceremonies and Town Hall: 8:45-10 a.m.
  • DOL Career Workshop: 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Benefits Fair: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Claims Clinic: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • MDEO Mobile Medical Unit: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Mobile Vet Center: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

April 25 Schedule of Events
