WARTAC is open to transitioning Service members who have 180-days or less left in service. Veterans\u2019 Recruitment Appointment (VRA) is an excepted authority that allows agencies to appoint WARTAC graduates into VBA positions. {site_title}<\/p>\n\n
Qualifications<\/h2>\n\nRating Veteran Service Representative GS-09\/12<\/h2>\n\nDuties<\/h3>\n\n\n- Analyzes claims to determine if diseases and\/or injuries were incurred or aggravated by military service in the line of duty for purposes of VA benefits.<\/li>\n
- Determine service-connection percentages of claimed disabilities.<\/li>\n
- Serves as the primary contact for assigning disability evaluations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n- One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-07), or<\/li>\n
- A master\u2019s or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field related to the duties of this position; or<\/li>\n

- Serves as the primary contact for the Veteran and their representative about VA compensation claims.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
